NFC/QR Programming Procedure
1° Setup: QR Code Configuration (Via Nfckin)
- Scan the QR Code: Frame the QR code printed on the card using your smartphone camera.
- Log in or Register: You will be redirected to https://www.nfckin.com/#/: create an account and log in.
- Automatic Recognition or Activation: Once inside, the site will automatically recognize the scanned QR code. In case you land on the welcome page (welcome), click on "Activate Product" and enter the activation code found printed on the support (on stickers it is located directly below the QR, while on stands it is under the base).
- Get the Business Place ID:
- Without closing the Nfckin page, go to Review Sense ID.
- Scroll down a bit, enter the name and carefully check the address of the business you are setting up the card for.
- Copy the generated Place ID.
- Generate the Direct Link: Go to ReviewSense Generator, paste the copied Place ID, generate the new direct review link, and copy it.
- Link on Nfckin: Go back to Nfckin, paste the link just generated with ReviewSense into the last required field, and click Activate.
At that point, the QR code will be activated and will always and only point to the linked business (unless future changes are made).
2° Setup: NFC Chip Configuration (Via NFC Tools)
For configuring the NFC chip, the procedure remains the same, using the clean link generated with ReviewSense.
- Prepare the Link: Make sure you have copied the link previously generated from ReviewSense.
- Prepare the NFC Tools App: Download and open the NFC Tools application on your smartphone (free for iOS and Android).
- Write the Link to the NFC Chip:
- Select the Write tab.
- Click on Add a record and select the URL / URI option.
- Paste the link generated by ReviewSense and click the checkmark to confirm.
- Click Write and bring your smartphone close to the NFC chip (stand or sticker) until the green confirmation checkmark appears.
- Final Test: Close the app and perform a test tap by bringing your unlocked smartphone close to the chip to verify that the Google 5-star review screen opens immediately.
🔒 Protection and Locking (Optional, but recommended)
This method allows you to prevent unauthorized rewriting, while keeping the ability to modify the link in the future if you know the password.
Password Protection:
- Open NFC Tools and go to the Other tab.
- Select the Set password option.
- Enter a password of your choice and press OK.
- Bring your smartphone close to the NFC chip to apply the protection.
Note: If you want to overwrite the chip in the future, simply go to Other -> Remove password, enter the code, and tap the tag to unlock it.
Permanent Lock:
If you want to make the chip read-only with no possibility of future modification (neither by you nor by others):
- Go to the Other tab.
- Select Lock tag.
- Bring your smartphone close to the NFC chip to confirm the permanent lock.
⚠️ Warning: Permanent locking via Lock tag cannot be undone. Once locked, the saved link can never be modified or deleted again.
